I have decided to do a post here offering some information on my full WORK- FROM – HOME report as I realised that most of what I offer for free here on this blog relates directly to the main report.

The idea is to stabilize your business and get it running on three different anchor systems.

The reason for this is to allow you to achieve a bigger turnover, have your business running at the maximum capacity all the time, and allow you to absorb any staggers that the world throws at you.

Equally if you are a landscape garden designer and are either starting or running already – I will help you to look for and apply two different income streams that will also allow you that stability.

Now this does not mean that you are forced into running a triple split business, I obvoiusly show you all you need to simply get your small home business running with all the possible turbo sections on full blast.

Now while the largest part of the report does aim at promotion of your business through craft markets and trade shows or flea markets – the other options are covered.

Finally just to add this fact below.
Once a time has lapsed and I have had more feedback to the product – as I said in the report, I plan to do a major revision.
What exact form this revision will take is yet to be decided upon.
I am in three minds as to what to do.
Option one is to cut it all back to two simpler reports ( business plan and hints and tips) and offer those two products for a reduced amount.
Option two is to increase the product, re write it into a slightly better and easier to follow format. Add bunches of video and audio and how to sections and charge $300 00
Option three would be to put the membership site together properly ( which was the original plan) and offer different membership levels.
Hell – it could take years.

This business model is one that I personally used for a long time.

The simplicity of this method of earning money and the fact that you are extremely mobile makes it a great business for someone than needs to start up a small business.

What this business idea is.

You use a very fine pointed pen to write someone’s name onto a grain of rice.

Then you place that grain of rice into a small glass tube, fill it with oil and then glue a plug into the top.

Finally you fit a metal cap and hang it onto a leather thong or chain.

You would place some samples on a table or display board for visitors to your stall to see and choose from.

There are very often glass blowers that will make up very high quality glass forms to give you variety to offer the buyers. I had some brilliant shapes, like dolphins, crosses, round balls and teardrop type styles. You were able to charge more for the patterned ones like putting two names of lovers into a heart shaped holder.

Now that is the very basic outline of the business model.

The fun starts here, as I am not a very normal business marketer, and I feel that there is always scope for tweaking and growth.

So the very first thing that I did was to offer a second style where I also did full designs onto a bigger grain of pasta rice. Because this grain was bigger it allowed me to do a huge amount more onto the surface of the grain. Naturally the novelty of the grain of rice being written on made a big impact, but when faced with a “novelty” option or a more detailed picture option, the colorful one was always the winner.

Now this gives you a huge amount more scope to develop your product. You can do examples with multiple intertwined hearts with the names inside. You can place different items into the oil to complement the grain. A good example was a mustard seed with a religious quote placed together. Another example would be a picture of an elephant on the grain with a small piece of veldt grass added.

Over time I thought up hundreds of good examples. What I would then do was to prepare stock before hand, and then when visitors appear at your stall you will have a stand on display with a couple of hundred of prewritten samples. You can write the popular bands and stars that are popular, you can write popular name brands and big iconic things.

The options will keep coming to you because guests will spend time looking through your stock and then they will get an idea and tell you about it.

Creating a vibe around your stall is a skill all on its own that can double your sales, and done correctly you can easily earn a living from this business model.

while most people that are using the internet to search for work from home opportunities the off line methods are sometimes still the safest for a newcomer.

There are many ways that you can do business from your own home, as a consultant or adviser, a specialist if you like and this is very popular.

equally there are a lot of small manufacturers and crafters that are producing very high quality products from their own home workshops. these products can be sold wholesale or retailed at the shows and festivals or flea markets everywhere.

I have a combined 30 years of experience in being self employed and working from home. I have spent three months putting together a 15 book training system aimed at that person who would like to run their own small home business.

Pet Sitting & house sitting

Naturally it goes without saying that you need tom love animals to do this work.

The more experienced you are at the care and up keep of pets and animals the better off you will be.
What you do is this….
Research all the facts that you need to know in relation to the general care of household pets.

Cover all of the most common pets, birds, dogs, cats and fish etc. do the research properly, as you will be entrusted with the care of peoples living animals.
Next put together a booklet that details all the knowledge that you gathered on the subject.
Add another detailed section covering the caring of a person’s home in their absence.
Contact all the local alarm and armed response companies and get details from them. Have real meetings with them firstly to learn how their system works, secondly to get them to refer you and thirdly to actually meet them.
Do the same with your local Vetenary practices, have a real meeting asking for both their advice and then for their referral. Leave them with such a professional manner that you will immediately be jumped to the top of their referral lists.
Any other business within the area that you are planning to work within, that has a daily or weekly delivery service, contact them with the same sort of meeting in mind.
So if the local newspaper delivery service is now willing to send you the contact details of someone who has suspended their deliveries for a few days, then you will have leads to work on.
Print very high quality pamphlets that give a lot of details about your services. Add a printed black and white text version of all your terms and conditions, including all the small details that they will need to know about you.
Never leave a photocopied version of your advert up at the local vet.
After you have been in business for awhile then add some referrals to the same booklet.
Detail and list all the different things that you are willing to do to the customer’s property and animals while they are away. Start with the obvious – turning on the lights every night. Add other things, clean the pool, walk the dogs.
Calculate a detailed costing for all these things.
Make it affordable.
Remember that if you are already at the customer’s home it is not much more effort to water their plant or other small items.
Be professional, earn their trust, be consistent and your business will grow to a comfortable level, and you will naturally keep getting their referral business for years.

What I really like about this business idea is that you can get started TODAY.

There are not many businesses that you can start up and be running at a profit at the end of the first day.

It is a service business.

This is what you will need to do…..

You go and have a meeting with the management of a retirement village, or old age home.

You agree on a percentage that you will pay for the rights to run your service business with the residents of the place.

Then you write up a carefully worked out price list for being a “runner” for the residents.

What you will be offering to do is to do the running back and forth to the drugstore / chemist, or the supermarket, or the, or the, …….

Then you set a day of the week when you offer really great rates, as you will be doing very many from that village in one trip.

You also offer a higher price to do special trips, say to collect things from family members, or to drop of x rays at specialists.

The third level fee is for after hours where you need to do emergency things.

Naturally in the beginning you will not be very busy, but as time goes on and the residents learn to rely on the fact that you are always there every Tuesday morning, they will begin trusting you. Pretty soon you will be going from room to room compiling up a list that will keep you busy.

You will need to be a very organized and efficient person to make this business work. The quicker you are able to get in and out the grocery store the bigger your profits will be.

If you avoid the long chatting sessions, and go about your job with a friendly smile you will never be without work.

Obviously the relationship that you have with the management is crucial, as they have the ability to have you kicked out or banned from the property. However equally if they get involved with you from the very beginning they have the power to make you a success from the very first day.

Once you have one village running smoothly you will be able to add a second and then a third until you are unable to fit in any more. DO NOT take on more than you can handle as you will ruin your reputation and it is hard to repair.
