You need to write pages and posts with a specific keyword or keywords in mind, so that the search engines will know that you are talking about or solving a specific issue or thing on that page.
Now, writing content on an almost daily basis can become a little tedious and if you are a crafter or designer who does not really have the time for the creation of that content, then you need to have it written for you.
